Diploma in Operation Theatre & Anaesthesia Technology
Diploma in Operation Theatre & Anaesthesia Technology (DOTAT) is a paramedical course designed to prepare students to work alongside surgeons, anaesthesiologists, and nurses in operation theatres. The curriculum focuses on surgical instrumentation, sterilization techniques, anaesthesia administration support, patient monitoring, and post-operative care. Graduates ensure the smooth functioning of operation theatres and contribute to patient safety during surgical procedures.

  • PUC qualified candidates: 2 years + 3 months internship
  • SSLC qualified candidates: 3 years + 3 months internship

Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate should have affiliated a minimum age of 15 years as on 31st December prior to the year of admission. The upper age limit is 35 years.
  • Candidates who have completed Pre-University (10+2) examination with Science subjects - PCB, PCMB, CBZ as the major subjects will be admitted to 2nd year diploma course.
  • The candidates who have completed SSLC or equivalent examination will be admitted to 1st year diploma course.
  • Eligibility for admission is as per Para Medical Board (GOK) norms as amended from time to time.
