Post Basic BSc Nursing is ideal for those seeking career growth and higher responsibilities in the nursing profession.

Upon graduating with a Post BSc Nursing course, candidates can opt for job profiles such as Registered Nurses, Nursing Instructors, Staff Nurses, Rehabilitation Specialists, Critical Care Nurses, etc.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

  • 10+2 class passed with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) & English Core/Elective with aggregate of 45% (or 40% for reserved categories) marks from recognized board.
  • Students can also be eligible with a vocational stream in health care or other recognized streams like Arts, Mathematics, and English.
  • You must hold a diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from an approved institute.

Age

  • Minimum age of 17 years.

Other Requirements

  • Candidates must be medically fit. 
  • You must be registered as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RNRM) with the State Nurses Registration Council.
  • Some institutions may specify a minimum period of work experience as a registered nurse after your GNM qualification.
